By supporting independent establishments, you help maintain the vibrant and diverse spirit of Longmont, fostering connections that keep our town connected and lively.

You directly contribute to the local economy by ensuring that more of your money remains in the neighborhood, bolstering jobs, local farmers, and suppliers. Plus, indulging in local dining means fresher food and a minimized environmental impact, enhancing sustainability efforts.

When you choose to eat at local restaurants like Pumphouse Brewery, you're making a significant impact not only on your taste buds but also on the entire community.

Pumphouse Brewery: A Longmont Gem Worth Visiting

If you've never set foot inside Pumphouse Brewery, you're missing out on a truly iconic piece of Longmont history. Enveloped in the historic William Lugg Building located at 6th & Main, Pumphouse now encapsulates the spirit and story of Longmont.

Transformed into a brewery in 1996 by four local founders (after being a Ford garage, a roller-skating rink, a Chevrolet dealership, and a Firestone service station), Pumphouse balances preserving historical features with cultivating a welcoming environment that fosters community engagements.

The addition of The Red Zone sports bar expands the Pumphouse experience, yet despite its growth, it remains proudly anchored to its local origins. It isn't merely a place to drink; it's a testament to appreciating history and fostering community.

Visiting means you’re supporting a business that celebrates local heritage, top-notch craft beer brewed on-premises, and a unique atmosphere that hooks into Longmont’s charm.

What Will You Love About Pumphouse Brewery?

You’ll find that Pumphouse Brewery perfectly marries Longmont’s vibrant past with a lively present. There has never been a time that I’ve been there when it wasn't packed with people!

From savoring a pint of on-site brewed craft beer to sharing moments in a building that’s been a communal hub for over 100 years, the experience is filled with fun for all ages.

From the cozy brewpub to the energetic Red Zone sports bar, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re catching a game, enjoying time with friends, or just soaking in the history.

Must-Try Delights at Pumphouse Brewery

Every item on Pumphouse’s menu feels like a journey through well-thought preparation and quality, but two standouts keep my team and me coming back for more.

The Base Camp Milk Stout promises a rich, smooth experience, perfect for any setting of enjoyment. A treat that’s only periodically available, it's a must-try if you spot it on the menu.

While it may not pair well with such a heavy beer, my personal favorite is the Farmhouse Salad: a fresh and vibrant concoction of seasonal greens, crisp veggies, and house-made dressing to complete your wholesome dining experience. You can even add your favorite protein to make it a full meal that really satisfies!

Experience Longmont’s Local Treasure

Visiting Pumphouse Brewery isn’t just about having a meal or grabbing a drink; it’s about embracing a piece of Longmont’s heart.

Coupled with impressive service by a friendly and accomplished staff, every visit promises to leave you feeling right at home.

If you’re seeking an authentic local experience that complements your support for community values, take it from me: you won’t regret stopping by this local treasure and seeing what all the fuss is about.
