D'Anne Rudden
Owner and Audiologist
Au.D., CCC-A, CPS/A
Dr. Rudden grew up in a small town near Richmond, VA, where her early experiences with the hearing-impaired students at her school sparked a deep interest in audiology. Watching how their unique challenges were handled inspired her to focus on improving the lives of those with hearing difficulties.
As a teenager, she moved to Encinitas, CA, a transition that broadened her outlook and reinforced her dedication to working with diverse communities. Dr. Rudden pursued her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at the University of the Pacific, laying the foundation for her future career.
With a clear goal of advancing her expertise, she later moved to Colorado, where she earned her master’s degree in Audiology at the University of Colorado Boulder and completed her doctoral studies at Arizona School of Health Sciences. During this time, she also met and married her husband Tim, and with the birth of their son Patrick in 1997, they chose to settle in Longmont permanently.
With 30 years of experience, Dr. Rudden remains committed to providing compassionate, personalized hearing and tinnitus care, combining cutting-edge technology with a patient-centered approach to help individuals of all ages maintain their hearing health throughout their lifespan.
Beyond her professional work, Dr. Rudden believes that one of the most important aspects of being a Doctor of Audiology is giving back to the community. For her, this commitment to community service extends beyond professional responsibilities; it’s about fostering a healthier society and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her.

What’s your favorite season?
Spring—it’s such a time of renewal and renewed energy. I love seeing new leaves sprouting and flower bulbs that have been asleep all winter start to come alive. It also means that I go to work when the sun is coming up instead of in the dark. I love being able to sit on my back porch and connect with my friends and family.
Who are your favorite musicians?
Definitely Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and James Taylor! Love the storytelling and the camaraderie of being at a live show where you become part of a community of people who aren’t afraid to sing, dance, and cheer for great artists… while wearing my pink glitter musician’s filtered earplugs, of course!
What is your favorite food?
I have never met a French fry that I didn’t love! In fact, my husband loves to tell the story of how I dragged him all over Amsterdam so that I could go to a special restaurant I had seen on TikTok that only served French fries with all kinds of toppings. Any time of the day is “French fry o’clock” in my world.
Dog or cat?
Dog—I have two golden retrievers, Lucy and Zoey, that you may even see featured in some of our monthly newsletters. They love to go on walks and swim in Lefthand Creek.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for free, where would you go?
I have a goal to go to every continent, and the only ones I have left to visit are Australia and Antarctica.
What is your favorite sound?
My son’s voice is my favorite sound.
