Jessica Seiler
Audiology Assistant & Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica grew up in Oxford, MS, and always knew she wanted to help people. She studied at the University of MS (as in Ole Miss), and spent several years working in IT, but after finding a fascination with audiology and the technology of hearing aids, she found her seat on our team.
As our Audiology Assistant (after recently completing online training through Audiology Academy), Jessica makes sure that the audiologists she works with have everything they need to help their patients succeed, from insurance documentation to reminders about specific needs.
She was previously known as our Patient Care Coordinator, and in that role she still assists all of us in the clinic with hearing aid clean and checks, troubleshooting and technology consultation, and helping patients with basic cleaning and caring for their hearing aids. Jessica loves helping people, so anything she can do to help improve her patients’ quality of life is immensely satisfying.
Jessica is also our social media maven—if you see us online, our videos are crafted with love by her!
Outside of work, she and her boyfriend enjoy taking their dog on hikes and adventures around the state. When they’re relaxing indoors, they like watching live music and building elaborate LEGO creations together.
Outside of the Clinic
What’s your favorite season?
Spring.
Who are your favorite musicians?
Currently, my favorite musicians are Tedeschi Trucks Band.
What is your favorite food?
French Creole.
Dog or cat?
Cats are my favorite, but I currently have a golden retriever named Jeezy!
If you could travel anywhere in the world for free, where would you go?
Spain.
What is your favorite sound and why?
The sound of food cooking; cooking is very "in the moment" for me. I feel that I connect with the women in my family who came before me, who also spent time preparing nourishment for the ones they love.
Cooking food is a deeply human thing. And all the sounds in the kitchen are beautiful—the sizzle, the chopping, the clugging noise wine makes as I add it to a dish or replenish my glass… the entire experience is very holistic for me.
